JSC and National Treasury Discuss Judiciary & JSC Funding Gaps
The JSC Chairperson Hon. Martha Koome chaired a meeting with the National Treasury team led by PS Dr. Chris Kiptoo today, to address the budgetary constraints affecting the Judiciary and the JSC.

The JSC participated in the inaugural Annual High Court Summit, themed “Upholding Human Rights in a Changing Kenya." In his remarks, JSC Vice Chairperson Isaac Rutto emphasized that the responsibility of upholding human rights extends beyond the Judiciary “effective collaboration across government, civil society and the private sector will create an environment where justice thrives and fundamental rights are upheld. Such partnerships are essential to building a resilient system that protects human dignity and upholds the rule of law.”
