Chief Justice and JSC Chairperson, Justice Martha Koome, led a consultative meeting with the Bungoma County Court Users Committee (CUC) and the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) Bungoma Chapter, led by Chairperson Daisy Wakoli.

Stakeholders welcomed the establishment of the Court of Appeal Bench in Kakamega, describing it as a significant milestone that has improved access to justice and strengthened the administration of justice across the region. The meeting highlighted key priorities for improving service delivery, including the establishment of additional courts in Kimilili and Webuye to bring judicial services closer to the people.
