JSC at the LSK Annual Conference 2026

The Judicial Service Commission participated in the Law Society of Kenya Annual Conference 2026, themed “Business Unusual: Legal Practice in the Era of Artificial Intelligence,” with sub-themes on Electoral Justice in Kenya and Alternative or Appropriate Dispute Resolution.

The Commission’s participation was anchored on an exhibition stand aimed at strengthening engagement with one of its critical stakeholders. The exhibition provided an important platform to engage advocates on the Commission’s constitutional mandate and functions, while highlighting the strides made in promoting a Judiciary that is independent, accountable, effective, efficient, and transparent in the administration of justice.

Beyond sharing information, the JSC used the opportunity to listen and receive feedback from stakeholders on matters relating to the administration of justice and the work of the Commission. The engagement fostered dialogue and collaboration, underscoring the Commission’s commitment to a Judiciary that is responsive to the justice needs of all Kenyans.

Meaningful stakeholder engagement remains central to strengthening public confidence in the JSC and the Judiciary, and to advancing a justice system that meets the needs and expectations of Kenyans.
