Hon. Justice Antony Charo Mrima was elected as a Member of the Judicial Service Commission on 6th September 2024, pursuant to Article 171 (2) (d) of the Constitution which provides that the Kenya Magistrates and Judges Association will elect a Judge to represent them in the JSC.

Justice Mrima was appointed as a Judge of the High Court in 2014 and is currently serving as the Presiding Judge at the High Court Kitale. He brings a wealth of experience in corporate governance having served as the Chairman of both Kilifi Water and Sewerage Company and Coast Water Services Board. Justice Mrima has also undergone training and capacity building in mediation, election preparedness and alternative justice systems.
In 2023, Justice Mrima was the recipient of the Law Society of Kenya Best Judge of the Year award.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Nairobi and was Admitted to the Bar in 1998.
