Hon. Justice Anthony Charo Mrima was sworn in as a Member of the Judicial Service Commission on 17th September 2024 at a ceremony presided over by the Chief Justice.
Justice Mrima was elected as a representative of the Kenya Magistrates and Judges Association to the JSC, on 6th September 2024, pursuant to Article 171 (2) (d) of the Constitution.
The Chief Justice welcomed Justice Anthony Charo Mrima to the Judicial Service Commission’s collective pursuit of securing the constitutional imperatives of the independence and accountability of the Judiciary.
On his part, Justice Mrima called upon all persons to respect the Constitution and abide by the Rule of Law and pledged to work with fellow Commissioners in the JSC in delivering the constitutional mandate of the Commission.
