JSC Commissioners today joined a luncheon honouring Kenya’s newly sworn-in High Court and Environment and Land Court Judges, and the message was clear: The oath was not a moment. It’s a lifelong commitment. Commissioners congratulated the judges while reminding them that their service must be defined by Integrity, Independence, Accountability and Performance. The JSC further urged the judges to let the Judicial Code of Conduct and Ethics be their living compass, shaping every every decision, and every interaction with the public they serve. The judges will now undergo induction before commencing their duties.
