The Judicial Service Commission is mandated to prepare and implement programmes for continuing education and training of Judges and Judicial Officers under Article 172 1 (d) of the Constitution. The JSC discharges this mandate through the Kenya Judiciary Academy (KJA).
The Academy is the judicial think tank of global excellence, nerve centre of rich intellectual exchange and an institute of higher learning facilitating the growth of jurisprudence and judicial practice.
KJA provides the intellectual anchor in making our courts the hearth and home of a robust and functional jurisprudence that meets the aspirations of Kenyans.
