The Kenya Judiciary Academy(KJA) falls directly under the Commission. Article 172 (1)(d) of the Constitution stipulates that one of the functions of the Commission is to prepare and implement programs for the continuing education and training of judges and judicial officers. The JSC executes this function through Kenya Judiciary Academy (KJA). KJA performs this function through various training programs, public lectures, research, and other forms of discourses targeting all judges and judicial officers.
