Hon. Omwanza Ombati was appointed the Law Society of Kenya Male represenative to the Judicial Service Commission on 13th May 2024 pursuant to articele 171 of the Consititution.

He is a seasoned legal practitioner with over 20 years experience having been admitted to the Roll of Advocates in 2004. Hon Omwanza is a partner at Nchogu, Omwanza and Nyasimi Advocates.

Hon. Omwanza Ombati Chairs the adhoc committee tasked to review petitions and report to the JSC. He is a member of the Learning and Development Committee, Human Resource Management Committee, the Audit, Governance and Risk Management Committee and the Committee on the Administration of Justice.
